The informational meeting for the pageant is on Wednesday, August 30, during Flex in the BMS Cafeteria. The handout is posted below:
Escorts: Contestants DO NOT need to find an escort for the pageant. That is something that only BHS requires. Mrs. Duncan has made arrangements for the escorts already. :)

Pageant Titles/Awards:
For this pageant, there are three possible titles:
Overall Miss Buford Middle School: This is the winner selected by the judges after hearing the introduction and doing the individual walk portion.
Miss Spirit of BMS: This is a separate title chosen by BMS faculty and staff as well as the contestants as a means of recognizing a young lady for having all of the qualities that we respect in our students and our friends. For example, this is someone who is respectful to adults and peers, willing to help others, goes above and beyond the traditional expectations of classroom behavior, and inspires and supports other students.
People's Choice Winner: This title is voted on by the family and friends of the contestants by making donations. Contestants wishing to participate in this portion of the event should get a bag from Mrs. Duncan to decorate with their name, grade, and picture. The bags will be available for donations on pageant night in the foyer of the FAC. The young lady with the most donations will be the winner.
